Estimator

Located in Lincoln, NE

Are you business-savvy and sales-minded? Do you have experience working with steel, fabrication, and/or manufacturing?

Express Employment Professionals is assisting a Lincoln, NE company in their search for an Estimator. The successful candidate for this role will be personable and willing to find outstanding solutions for both external clients and internal business needs. Previous experience with steel, fabrication, and/or manufacturing is a must! Preference given to candidates with previous bidding or estimation experience.

Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Analyze project proposals, sketches, and other documents to create bids
• Communicate throughout team to ensure each part of the process is completed according to customer specifications
• Work creatively to develop exceptional and competitive solutions to customer needs
• Other duties as assigned

Experience/Education/Skills:

• Must be familiar with steel, steel products, fabrication, and manufacturing
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to negotiate and problem solve
• Self-motivated with firm decision-making skills in situations with little information or instruction
• High attention to detail

Schedule/Pay:

• Monday through Friday from 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Competitive pay based on experience, skills, and qualifications
