Salary: $25-$30hr, DOE

Express is seeking candidates for an Office Manager position with a manufacturing company in Arcata. The position is heavy on bookkeeping (QuickBooks) with additional support for Human Resources functions and general office operations. In the near future, this position will work with Operations to facilitate the transition to a full Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.  This person is similar to a Controller. This is a really cool opportunity to join a company that is gearing up for international growth!

Key Tasks

  • Bookkeeping using QuickBooks
  • Aptitude for learning and adopting new technology very quickly
  • Human Resources support (small company/employee count)
  • General administrative/office management tasks

Key Traits

  • Strong skill with QuickBooks (tested with Express)
  • Experience providing recommendations to management based on financial reports
  • Progressively increasing experience with general administrative tasks
  • Prefer experience with human resources
  • Team player
  • Great communication with the team, public, and customers
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with an ERP is a big plus!

Compensation

$25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
