We are currently recruiting for a Apprentice Welder on behalf of our client based in Mission. Specializing in mechanical systems services. Our client offers expertise in pipe fabrication and various services tailored to municipal water systems, wastewater systems, food processing plants, and industrial facilities.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Shop-based work, Candidates will be assigned to the production line, primarily working in the prep shop.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Candidates should be capable of planning and executing pipe welding jobs according to established priorities and available resources.
- Comfortable in cutting materials using power tools or by hand
- Assist in and perform complex jobs
- Meet deadlines and managing tasks efficiently
- Proficient in utilizing the Oxyacetylene welding technique
Qualification:
- Level A or B Welding Ticket
- Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in welding pipes
- Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in Oxyacetylene welding technique
