Salary: $49,000 - $55,000

Our client, a construction company located in the East End, is currently looking for a Full-Time Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position (Accounts Receivable, etc.)
• Accounting Diploma or equivalent considered an asset
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently/in a team
• Ability to multitask
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to professionally answer phones
• Comfortable dealing with difficult customers at times
• Bilingualism is an asset
• Knowledge of MS Dynamics considered an asset

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Review purchase orders and contracts
• Apply payments in in the system – Approximately 200 per month
• Reconcile client accounts / AR statements
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied transactions
• Send AR payment reminder e-mails
• Escalate delinquent accounts to Management
• Complete bank account reconciliations
• Assist with creating spreadsheets, charts, and pivot tables
• Develop and maintain respectful relationships with customers, personnel, management, and co-workers
• Other accounting duties as assigned

The wage for this position ranges from $23.98 to 27.47 per hour ($49,000 to $55,000 per year) based on experience.  

Schedule: Monday to Friday – Hours are 7:00am – 3:30pm
