Express Employment Professionals of Long Beach is recruiting a Driver/Warehouse to make local deliveries for a growing company here in Long Beach.  

POSITION – Driver / Warehouse (Current & Valid CA Drivers License) 

LOCATION: Long Beach, CA 

RATE:  $22-$25/hr.

HOURS:  7am-4pm 

Required:  CA Driver''s License, Drug Test, Background Check

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Deliver materials to customers warehouse/offices and jobsites
• Make deliveries using 32'' truck with air brakes 
• Contact customers to coordinate site deliveries
• Complete various paperwork including: truck inspections, log sheets, etc.
• Assist warehouse with order assembly and staging
• Assist in unloading and stocking of inbound materials
• Operate various dock equipment including: pallet jacks, dollies, flat cart, forklift

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Must have a valid and current California class C driver’s license
• Valid DOT medical card Required
• HS Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 or more years commercial driving experience with light to medium trucks
• Forklift Certificate or previous knowledge is a plus but not required
• Drug Test and 7 Year Background Check required
• Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs. with correct lifting techniques.
• Adhere to safety procedures & obey traffic laws
