Technical Sales/ Support Specialist 

 

Well known Mulino company is looking for a new addition to their Technical Sales Department. This customer service role is a multifaceted position with room for growth. Long term, temp to hire, Day shift starting at $23/hr.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicates with customers including website and software support by phone, email, forum or live internet chat to resolve various issues and provide a total customer service experience second to none.
  • Providing customers PCB quotes, tracking and reporting on the number of quotes daily.

 

  • Making quote acknowledgment calls, follow up calls related to quotes and reporting daily on follow up call activities and results.
  • Additionally, the associate may need to support the companies DFM offering
  • Assists with the development of various marketing projects such as pricing data sheets, website and new product testing, brochures, ads, promotions, etc.
  • Conducts research into various issues that a customer may have with the Company’s product
  • Collects and reports on customer feedback on all company products and services.  Creates reports as needed utilizing Excel and other software applications.
  • Develop and keep up to date with technical developments in the printed circuit board industry along with advances in the design software technology.
  • Contribute to new ideas and become fully engaged with Sunstone’s corporate mission; Total Customer Satisfaction from Quote to Delivery!
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English safety instructions, company polices and operational instructions.
  • Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with customers and coworkers, and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.  
  • Willing and able to work occasional weekends, various off hours/swing shift to help cover gaps due to vacations, illness, etc

 

Qualifications:

  • Firm background in technical customer support and/or sales
  • Firm background in a technical sales support and /or environment
  • Preferred background in call center environment
  • Able to learn new software and provide customer support related to that software.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills needed. Comfortable with interfacing with databases and various computer applications and is willing to learn new applications as required.
  • Able to work in a team setting as well as work with little or no supervision and is pro-active in nature to find creative ways to create a total customer service satisfaction experience
  • Customer centric, Enthusiastic, and enjoys interpersonal interaction
  • Exceptional attendance critical
  • Multi-Tasking, Trouble Shooting, and problem solving skills are essential
  • Consultative sales skills and direct marketing calls experience a plus
  • Flexible work schedule – to include, weekends, various off hour shifts
  • 4+ years sales experience required with technical aptitude. Bachelor's or Associates from an accredited college or university; or two to three year’s technical phone support/customer service or related experience.
  • Experience with ERP Systems, CRM, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, excel, word, outlook, etc.

Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
