Responsibilities for the Project Engineer:

  • Create shop take off drawings to deliver to the shop floor
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned construction projects from start to finish
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve any issues that arise during construction
  • Review and approve project drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and submittals
  • Conduct regular meetings with project team members to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Work with Planning and Scheduling Manager to meet customer expectations
  • Manage project budgets to ensure profit margin

Qualifications for the Project Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience in sales and technology field
  • Experience in the metal fabrication field at least 2 years.
  • Proficient in the use of 3D software for design and drafting purposes
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience in project scheduling and coordination
  • Knowledge of construction management principles and practices
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Proficiency in software such as Bluebeam, Prolog, and HeavyBid for project management purposes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Must pass a background check and drug test

Schedule and Benefits:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
  • $65,000- $125,000
