Mechanic/Welder

Salary: $21.00-24.15

We have an excellent opportunity to work with one of the area's largest employers as a Mechanic/Welder. This is a day shift position from 6am-230pm Monday-Friday.     

Position Purpose 

This position assembles, alters, and/or repairs fabricated and aluminum products.  Willing and able to work long hours and travel as required to meet company requirements.   

Duties & Responsibilities 

• Weld using the TIG, MIG and oxy acetylene processes. 
• Achieve and maintain task qualifications for all work performed. 
• Work in a team environment and follow Company’s Guiding Principles. 
• Perform housekeeping and other organizational requirements. 
• Perform Lean, Standard Work and Continuous Process Improvements. 
• Repair steel and aluminum products. 
• Other duties as assigned. 

 Minimum Qualifications 

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
• Prefer two-year vocational welding degree.
• Minimum of 1year experience in TIG and MIG welding.
• Prefer fabrication experience. 
• Valid Driver license.
• Work 40 or more hours per week as directed (overtime, weekends, etc.) 
• Travel domestically as directed. 
• Drive company vehicles or rental vehicles as directed. 
• Work with hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals and products to perform required tasks. 
• Able to obtain a US passport. 
• Able to obtain a Class A airbrake restricted CDL
