Our Pickering client is a manufacture that aims to provide ideal steel manufactured solutions. They are looking for a Project Coordinator role to join their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Project Manager 
• Assist in the coordination, planning, scheduling and overseeing all aspects of projects from start to finish
• Liaison with engineers and estimation team
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance
• Develop project schedules and timelines for Engineers and shop
• Monitor project progress and address any issues to ensure timely completion
• Creating design structures and review of drawings using AutoCAD software
• Prepare and present project status reports to management and other stakeholders
• Resolve any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise
• Manage project documentation
• Collaborate with the team to ensure project success
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-3 years of previous experience in the Steel Construction or Fabrication Industry
• Bachelors Degree in an Engineering, Project Management or related field
• Experience in Steel Design required
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience in Construction Estimation (asset)

Compensation and Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per annum
