Insurance Follow Up Representative

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a third party medical billing company in the Tampa area. We are seeking experienced Insurance Follow Up  Representative - Hybrid position.

 

Insurance Follow Up Representative Job Duties:

• Responsibilities will include reviewing open patient account balance and following up with Insurance companies and/or patient to secure payment for services rendered.
• The representative will need to review the accounts and have a good understanding on how claims are processed.
• Must understand what an explanation of benefits is and be able to understand circumstances of denials, billing modification requirements, coverage and general information.     

Insurance Follow Up Representative Job Requirements:

• Preferably 2 years of experience in a medical business office environment with a focus on billing and or customer service.
• Skill in Microsoft Office and computer experience.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Excellent phone etiquette, good follow-up and follow through skills a must

 

Insurance Follow Up Representative Hours:

Flexible work schedule 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday

 

Hybrid position consist of working partly remote and on-site.
