Position Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relations, processing orders, providing product information, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

1. Process orders accurately and in a timely manner via various channels including phone calls, emails, and faxes.
2. Update delivery tags daily to ensure accurate sales figures.
3. Handle cash transactions and prepare reports for the Accounting Department.
4. Assist in coordinating deliveries of bulk and drop shipment orders.
5. Handle customer complaints professionally and within company policy.
6. Learn and understand the company's product lines to assist customers effectively.

Qualifications:

1. 1-2 years of previous sales and/or office experience.
2. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
3. Strong attention to detail.
4. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with AS400 is desirable.
5. Familiarity with government regulations concerning restricted and hazardous products is preferred.
6. Knowledge of general office procedures and company policies related to sales, billing, inventory, and record-keeping.
