Responsibilities:

Heavy Equipment Operation:

Material Extraction:

• Safely and efficiently extract materials from the quarry, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Load materials onto trucks for transportation to processing areas.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Utilize personal protective equipment as required for the safe operation of equipment.

Equipment Maintenance:

• Perform routine maintenance on heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

Material Stockpiling:

• Organize and stockpile extracted materials in designated areas for processing.
• Maintain proper stockpile levels to meet production requirements.

Collaboration:

• Coordinate with other quarry personnel to optimize production efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure a smooth workflow.

Environmental Compliance:

• Operate equipment with consideration for environmental impact, following regulations and best practices.
• Report any environmental concerns or incidents promptly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quarry Equipment Operator.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including bulldozers, loaders, excavators, and haul trucks.
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a quarry environment.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on heavy machinery.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant certification or training in heavy equipment operation.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quarry Equipment Operator.
