1st Shift Maintenance Technician

Located in Lincoln, NE

Salary: Up to $30/hr, depending on exp

Express Employment Professionals has multiple Maintenance Technician openings with several well-known companies around Lincoln, NE. Direct hire and evaluation-to-hire opportunities are available on 1st shift with pay up to $30/hr depending on experience!

Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team to plan work/repair schedules throughout the facility
• Installation of machinery and equipment throughout the facility
• Troubleshooting and performing both routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Provide emergency or otherwise unplanned maintenance services as needed
• Communicate with contractors and other specialists to keep equipment in working order
• Some general facilities maintenance and upkeep required (may include plumbing or carpentry duties)
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Education:

• Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance preferred
• 4+ years of work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Must have strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic aptitude and skills
• Preference given to candidates with PLC and/or HVAC experience
• Persistent with a results-driven mentality
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours

Schedule/Pay:

• These are full-time, day shift opportunities
• Pay up to $30/hr depending on experience
