Automation Industrial Control Technician:

• A premier plastics manufacturing company in Shelbyville is looking to add an Automation Industrial Control Technician to their team!
• The Automation Industrial Control Technician provides engineering and project management services for the entire manufacturing operation
• The Control Technician will maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing automation systems, including but not limited to PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems (plc messaging, middleware, and SQL) 
• Additionally, this candidate will Maintain and troubleshoot various types of automation instrumentation and devices such as servo drives, variable frequency drives, barcode/RFID readers, and I/O, and more

Pay/Benefits:

• Up to $42/hour depending on experience

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm

• May be required to work 1-2 weekends a month
• Schedule may swtich to 2nd shift after training

Requirements:

• EET or the equivalent, with journeyman level experience in industrial electricity and controls
• A full understanding of analog, digital, and logic circuits.
• Experience in the installation and troubleshooting of PLCs, variable frequency drives, and power distribution systems
• Familiarity with MES and Historian Systems
• Capable of installing and commissioning new or retrofitted automated equipment and able to modify and write PLC logic
