Yacht Club Steward $20+

Located in Braintree, MA

Do you prefer a work day with plenty of variety, working inside and outside, helping others and working independently?
We have a unique opportunity to work at a membership based boating facility in Braintree.

The Club Steward will be responsible for the basic maintenance and cleanliness of the property:
Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting restroom and shower areas; mopping floors, wiping mirrors, trash removal, restocking paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
Keeping the Club House clean and organized; window washing, vacuuming, cleaning tables, chairs and couches.
Maintaining the Galley and Bar; keeping floor clean and disinfected, kitchen appliances, bar top, sink, shelving wiped down.
Securing the property; gates to be locked and secured each night prior to leaving.
Performing maintenance on the property as needed; basic repairs of carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, etc.
Seasonal needs such as mowing the lawn, light landscaping, applying salt during the icy winters, shoveling snow and keeping a safe walkway free of debris.
Dock work; taking care of the boats and the water, electric meter readings, and pumping gas for members (tips!) while keeping a log of all activity.
Additional tasks may include running errands, helping members in unforseen ways, etc.

Schedule *non negotiable*
SUMMER (April 16 - November 14)
Thursday-Monday, 9:00am-6:00pm. 1 hour lunch.
WINTER (November 15 - April 15)

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. 1 hour lunch.

Benefits once permanent: 2 weeks vacation in the WINTER, 5 paid holidays and 2 days PTO.
Pay $20-22/hour, DOE. CORI required.
