Job Specific Responsibilities:
  • Possess knowledge of working properties of Aerospace metals and skill with machine tools to plan, Set-Up & carry out the operations needed to make machined products that meet their precise specifications.
  • Knowledge of measuring instruments required for general machine shop use.
  • Use the proper measuring tools in order to check the accuracy of their work against blueprints.
  • Have the ability to set-up & operate Manual Lathes, Mills, other machine shop equipment.
  • Able to read blueprints.
  • US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

 

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years Machinist experience (Manual Mills & Lathes).
  • Mechanically inclined individual with good problem solving ability.
  • Able to produce accurate work (tolerances reach +/-.001 of an inch).
  • Mathematical machining skills required.
  • Proficient working with conventional lathes and Mills.
  • Familiarization with Aerospace Materials.
