Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati East (Skilled Trades Division) is now hiring to fulfill a CNC opening for a manufacturing team in Lebanon, OH. The CNC Machinist will machine component parts to pre-determined dimensions and tolerances, all while staying within assigned router hours. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Machine parts according to blueprints and other written and verbal specifications
• Set up, adjust, and efficiently operate CNC machine tools to perform diversified and complex operations, requiring close/exact tolerances on products with various dimensions and unusual contours, and finish specifications
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on the machine
• Maintain and inspect cutting tools for sharpness and usability
• Calculate and set controls and programming to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut
• Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, adjusting machine controls as needed
• Demonstrate basic programming skills
• Clean and maintain the machine, tooling, and parts to ensure optimal production condition
• Maintain and edit CNC programs to fine-tune processes for optimum performance
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training course completion in a relevant field is preferred
• Must be able to set up, program, and operate CNC equipment, such as CNC VTL, CNC horizontal mill, CNC vertical mill, and CNC horizontal lathes
• Ability to read blueprints
• Experience operating forklift and overhead crane
• Proficiency in reading measuring instruments
• Ability to maintain machinery and equipment in the machining trade

 

Schedule: Mon-Thurs OR Tues-Fri, 6:00am-4:30pm
Pay: $25-35/hour, based on experience
