Great opportunity with a distributor in Lawrenceville GA of fasteners and non-fastener products, including military, aerospace, commercial, and electronic components, representing premier manufacturers in the industry.

 

Position Overview:

The forklift driver will move materials, goods, and equipment as assigned. They will prepare, receive and provide documentation for the delivery and pick up of goods.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Verify carton counts on carrier manifests or bill of lading
•  Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
• Verify material quantity for completeness and accuracy
• Operates a forklift when required
•  Properly label accepted and rejected lots; affix documentation and direct to proper staging area
• Verifies received shipments meet purchased expectations and receives parts within the ERP system
• Initiates actions necessary when purchased expectations are not met
• Manages inventory in "grief" status until grief issue is resolved or the parts are directed to be returned to the
  vendor

 

Requirements:

• Warehouse experience is required
• Forklift experience is required
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
• Able to assist other departments as needed
