Beam Production Associates

Full-time/ Long term

Graveyard Shift: Sunday-Thursday

Day Shift: Monday-Friday

Wage: $19.50/hr - $20.00/hr

 

We are currently recruiting for multiple position for a local beam production facility in Drain Oregon.

 

Breakdown Crew - $19.50/hr

Responsibilities include:

·          Sticker placing in racks

·          Setting planer rolls in front of planers

·          Operating Hoists/Cranes

·          maintain safe and clean work environment

·          Take apart clamp lock ups, putting rods in designated areas, stacking all blocks neatly

·          Finish End associate - $19.50/hr

·          Responsibilities include:

·          Bring product up to grade

·          Wrap product as instructed by leadman

·          Do any repair work needed on products

·          Prepare product for shipment

·          Quality inspection of all products

·          maintain safe and clean work environment

·          Monitor equipment for proper operation

 

Glue Line Operator - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities include:

·          Ensure quality of lumber and glue spread

·          place rods and irons on lockups to clamp lumber beams together.

·          checking belts on hoists

·          performs routine corrective maintenance or reports to maintenance supervisor

·          maintain safe and clean work environment

·          Must be self-motivated and able to perform assigned duties with little supervision

 

Pre-Glue Line Operator - $19.50/hr

Responsibilities include:

·          Keeping track of footage ran for each ticket

·          Grade and trim any defects out of lumber

·          keeping track of footage ran for each ticket

·          Correct lumber grade in each beam ran

·          Band all loads being taken off 1st trim station

·          Maintain safe and clean work environment

·          Performs routine corrective maintenance or reports to maintenance supervisor

·          Must be self-motivated and able to perform assigned duties with little supervision

·          Grading experience required.

Associate will need to be organized, detail oriented, and has had recent physical labor work history. Good hand/eye coordination required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently, bend, crouch, stoop, twist, reach, pull and push consistently required.

 

Mill experience preferred, not required.
