Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Yard Technician to join our team. The Yard Technician will be responsible for maintaining and organizing the yard area, including equipment, materials, and inventory. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the yard area to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
2. Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials, equipment, and supplies.
3. Assist in loading and unloading materials and equipment as needed.
4. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other yard equipment safely and efficiently.
5. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in inventory counts as required.
6. Assist in the preparation and packaging of materials for shipment or delivery.
7. Perform minor repairs and maintenance on yard equipment as needed.
8. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations.
9. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
10. Assist in other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience working in a yard or warehouse environment.
3. Experience operating forklifts and other yard equipment preferred.
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
6. Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
10. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required).
