Express is currently seeking Electronic Assemblers for a client company in the Wampum, PA area!

 

Job Duties:

• Read work orders, follow production drawings and sample assemblies,
• Position and align parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device
• Crimp, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
• Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels.
• Performs assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy, bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding parts and assemblies.
• Tends machines that press, shape, or wind component parts.
• Perform online go-on-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production characteristics.
• Perform hand soldering duties in accordance with customer requirements and current IPC 610 specifications and standards.
• Solders or resolders missed or defective connections, joints, wiring, and terminals found o b defective or missing after original.

Location: Wampum, PA

Position Type: Temp-to Hire

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Requirements:

• 6 months of experience preferred
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Good Mathematical skills
• Ability to sit for duration of shift
• Use of hands to handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to lift/move 10- 50 lbs
