Job Title: CDL Driver with Dump Truck Experience

Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CDL Driver with expertise in operating dump trucks and hauling heavy equipment using a triple axle trailer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

1. Vehicle Operation:

   • Operate CDL Class A vehicles, specifically dump trucks and triple axle trailers, in a safe and efficient manner.
   • Transport various construction materials, aggregates, and heavy equipment to and from job sites.
   • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of the vehicle and compliance with regulations.

2. Hauling Heavy Equipment:

   • Safely load, secure, and transport heavy equipment and machinery to designated locations.
   • Ensure that all cargo is properly balanced, secured, and in compliance with transportation regulations.

3. Site Coordination:

   • Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to schedule deliveries and pick-ups in accordance with project timelines.
   • Maintain effective communication with the project team to ensure efficient logistics and delivery processes.

4. Safety Compliance:

   • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during vehicle operation and equipment transport.
   • Report any incidents, accidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly and accurately.

5. Maintenance:

   • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and inspections, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
   • Keep the interior and exterior of the vehicle clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating dump trucks and hauling heavy equipment using a triple axle trailer.
• Knowledge of and adherence to all relevant transportation and safety regulations.
• Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with project teams and site supervisors.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate equipment as needed.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CDL Driver with dump truck and heavy equipment hauling experience.
