Chemical Operator Production

Located in Mead, CO

Salary: $25+$4 shift differential

A chemical manufacturer who makes a variety of products used commercially in industries including aerospace and defense.

As Chemical Operator you would be:   

• Transfer raw materials, wastewater, waste solvents, and other wastes using pumps, and other equipment  
• Label hazardous waste containers to maintain compliance with labeling regulations 
• Maintain records to record process conditions in required circumstances 
• Maintain the hazardous waste accumulation area(s) in a clean and orderly condition  
• Perform yard and building cleanup as needed  
• Perform shipping and receiving activities as needed  
• Assist in preparation of required reports for EPA and CDPHE  
• Use company databases to create and maintain waste records and documents  
• Perform inspections as required by BSC and regulations to maintain compliance  
• Assist with or perform sampling   
• Handle drums, buckets, and other containers of hazardous and non-hazardous materials   
• Combine partial drums to ensure all waste drums 90% full for shipping  
• Repackage wastes for shipment to drum disposal facilities  
• Clean drums for shipment to drum disposal facilities  
• Maintain the pit and sump areas ensuring areas are clean and equipment is in good working condition 

 You may qualify for the Chemical Operator position if you:

• Basic math and reading skills required
• Previous experience in construction or manufacturing preferred. 

Pay: $25/hr +$4/hr shift differential on graveyard shifts

Schedule: 6:30pm – 7:00am Or 6:30am - 7:00pm 

3 12hour shifts per week with alternating days off 

Rotate between day/night shifts every 12 weeks
