Automation Engineer Summary/Company Information:
- A family-owned global manufacturer that has been in business for over 70 years is looking to add an Automation Engineer to their team!
- This is a direct hire position with a state-of-the-art company who treats employees very well and offers 8 locations on 3 continents
- The company is open to an entry level candidate who is close to graduating or is a recent grad with an Engineering degree
- The Automation Engineer will program, troubleshoot, and maintain Universal Robots (UR) and automated systems/ equipment
- The Engineer will also create comprehensive documentation for UR robot programs, machine vision setups and maintenance procedures and more
- The company is hiring immediately
Engineer's Pay/Benefits:
- Direct-hire placement!
- $70,000-$75,000K

Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 6am-8am start time
- On call rotation - typically 1 week + weekend a month
Requirements:
- Bachelor''s degree in mechanical engineering, technology, electrical engineering, automation, or a related field
- Experience with collaborative robots (Cobots)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Robot Programming Language (RPL)
- Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial control systems
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of 3D CAD software for robot simulation and programming
