Accountant / Tax Preparer - Stuart ($25/hr + BOE)

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Express Employment Professionals is adding an Accountant/Tax Preparer to our Stuart team!

 

You will have experience as a Tax Accountant with accounting and bookkeeping experience required. Tax preparation experience is mandatory. Must have experience with QuickBooks desktop and online versions. If you have a passion for math, and a strong understanding of the intricacies of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, and other financial transactions within an organization, we would like to meet you.

 

 

Duties:

• Tax Preparation Corporate, Partnership, Trust & Personal Returns
• Stays up to date on all federal tax laws
• Prepare Financial Statements for Business Clients including bookkeeping and reconciliations
• Keep track of deadlines and deliverable for multiple clients
• Payroll knowledge
• Sales Tax Returns
• Regular communication with clients including answering client questions and provide advice
• Various administrative duties

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years experience as a Federal Tax Accountant
• State Income Tax experience is a plus
• Must be fluent in QuickBooks desktop and online versions
• CPA or EA preferred, but not required

  

 

$25.00-$35.00 hourly based on experience
