Salary: $18-$20/hour

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for an Athens, GA company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in Athens and surrounding areas who have openings that they are looking to fill with great talent we find for them!

In this role you will:

 

• Application of cash receipts
• Monitor aging of receivables, participate in collection efforts
• Dispute short payments as needed through established carrier appeals process
• May include some Accounts Payable responsibilities, including coding of credit card expenses.
• Research and resolution of unapplied cash
• Experience with billing and collections a plus
• Experience or familiarity with multiple eBilling sites
• Utilize accounting knowledge and established firm practices to provide relevant information to firm leadership
• Provide standard and ad hoc financial reports
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite with an advanced understanding of Excel
• Ability to communicate professionally
• Work well in a team environment – willing to do what is needed to make the team successful
• Organized, methodical and detail oriented
• Ability to provide excellent customer service, background in customer service role a plus
• Other projects as assigned

 

We like to hear from candidates with:

 

• 3+ years of accounting or accounts receivable experience
• Business or Accounting Degree
• Professional service billing and receivables
