Counter Sales Representative / Warehouse Associate

Salary: $20.00 - $21.00

Our client, located in the East End, is currently looking for a Counter Sales Representative / Warehouse Associate with an entrepreneurial spirit to join their team.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Safety Conscious
• Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse environment  
• Must have previous trades experience
• Previous HVAC/Refrigeration experience considered an asset
• Ability to work independently/in a team
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English
• Must be able and willing to learn
•  Capable of lifting up to 50lbs
• Comfortable using a computer – CRM, Outlook, MS Word

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Lift up to 50lbs
• Perform all required warehouse, shipping, receiving and inventory control tasks
• Communicate with vendors by e-mail
• Obtain quotes on freight / shipping costs
• Assist and support all inside sales functions
• Assist with the processing of orders and quotations
• Assist with the sourcing of equipment, parts and technical information as requested
•  Assist with the follow up on quotes and orders
• Develop strong relationships with our customers
• Operate a forklift to move product around the warehouse
• Maintaining a clean work warehouse
• Working safely and efficiently
• Other duties as assigned

For the first 2 weeks, the successful candidate will be expected to be 60/40 warehouse/customer service in order to learn the products, processes and equipment. After 1.5 months, this will change to 60/40 customer service/warehouse.

The wage for this position ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour depending on experience. 

Monday to Friday Full-time – 7:30am to 4:30pm
