Job Description:

 

A leading manufacturing company is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Paper Winder Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the paper winding machines, ensuring efficient production and high-quality output.

 

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor paper winding machines during production shifts.
• Set up and adjust machine settings to achieve optimal production output.
• Conduct routine quality checks to ensure the finished product meets company standards.
• Troubleshoot and address machine malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
• Perform regular maintenance on the equipment to ensure its smooth operation.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a machine operator (Fourdrinier machine, cylinder machines, etc)
• Familiarity with tissue paper manufacturing processes is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work mandatory rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Must be to lift between 50lbs-75lbs
• Basic math, measuring and computer skills for recording production data.
