Position: Accounts Payable Clerk

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Salary Range: $37,000 - $43,000 per year

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As an integral part of the finance department, the ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing substantial volumes of accounts payable data and processing payments. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers, addressing invoicing and fuel tax discrepancies through meticulous research and problem-solving

Responsibilities:

• Handle large batches of accounts payable data and process payments accurately.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to address and resolve invoicing and fuel tax errors.
• Utilize proficiency in mathematics, 10-key by touch, data entry, and Microsoft Office to ensure precise financial transactions.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in analyzing and auditing substantial amounts of data.
• Previous experience in fuel-related accounting is considered a plus.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting.
• Proficiency in mathematics, 10-key by touch, data entry, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in analyzing and/or auditing large amounts of data.
• Familiarity with fuel-related accounting processes is advantageous.
