 Customer Account Specialist - Specialty Truck Accessories

1st shift  

$65,000/year

In this vital role, you will manage all aspects of our vehicle compartment projects from initial bid through final delivery. You will be the main point of contact working directly with customers, dealers, sales teams, engineers, and production to ensure each accessory upgrade meets or exceeds expectations.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparing bids by analyzing specifications, drawings, and estimating project costs
- Schedule project timelines and effectively communicate with all internal/external stakeholders
- Coordinate design changes, contract modifications, and change order processes
- Resolve any discrepancies with contracts, pricing, or requirements pre/during production
- Provide regular status updates to customers and dealers throughout vehicle upgrade
- Attend industry events like FDIC to further develop product/customer knowledge
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines

Requirements: 

- Experience in emergency or other specialty vehicle manufacturing/upgrade
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude with ability to understand engineering drawings
- Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, CAD proficiency very helpful
- Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving abilities 
- Willingness to travel for site visits, training, trade shows as needed
