We are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a reputable construction company located in the heart of downtown. This is a full-time, direct-hire placement, with compensation based on skills and experience.

Job Summary:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating multiple construction projects simultaneously. You will collaborate with clients, oversee project planning, handle submittals and shop drawings, and assist with estimating. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be capable of handling 3-5 projects concurrently, and have a strong background in construction project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements, expectations, and timelines.
• Assist in the estimation process, including preparing cost estimates, budgets, and proposals.
• Prepare and submit submittals for client review and approval.
• Manage and submit shop drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with on-site superintendent(s), subcontractors, and other team members.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Oversee project progress and quality, conducting regular site visits as necessary
• Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and expenditures.
• Identify and resolve project-related issues, risks, and challenges.
• Prepare regular project status reports and updates for clients and company management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on all projects
• Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve project processes and efficiency.
• Interact with design professionals, owner or owner’s representative, in a courteous and professional manner that represents company standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and materials.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capability to manage 3-5 projects concurrently.
• Proficiency in estimating and budgeting.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• P6 Scheduling software proficiency is a plus.
