QUALITY CONTROL SHEET METAL INSPECTOR NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!  CALL MARIA AT 661-775-2570

• Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations.
• Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance.
• Inspect all parts and assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
• Use various micrometers, calipers, and gauges to measure to inspect parts.
• Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective parts, assemblies, RMAs, etc.
• Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with safety standards.
• Prepare and submit reports to the QC Manager

Requirements of successful candidates include:

• Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role within a sheet metal shop (at least 3 years)
• High school degree or equivalent
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Work with engineering and production to address and resolve quality issues
• Proficient in precision sheet metal fabrication methods
• Strong organizational and time management skills
