OVERVIEW: Local heavy machine company is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team directly. Responsible for working closely with the President and Branch Managers. Assure accurate and reliable information is generated to aid management in making informed decisions within the company.

DUTIES:

• Develop and maintain positive relationships internally and externally
• Research issues and communicate results in a timely and service oriented manner
• Prepare and enter journal entries in accounting system
• Responsible for preparing financial reports as directed by the Controller

 

PAY: $60K-70K Yearly

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

•  4 year degree in accounting or finance
•  3-5 years in accounting, preferably distributor or comparable background
•  Knowledge of GAAP, solid accounting theory base, good understanding of the financial statements.
