Salary: $20.00 - $25.00

Our client, a specialty food products supplier located in Vars, is currently hiring an experienced Full-time Inventory Control Clerk.  The ideal candidate is a team player, motivated to work, and reliable with strong work ethics.

 

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and maintain inventory items, ensuring proper identification and tracking through SAP
• Supervise the warehouse team and workflow
• Receive all incoming deliveries and verify the accuracy of contents against the purchase order
• Communicate with transport companies
• Pack and prepare products for shipping
• Ensure accuracy of bills of lading
• Manage incoming and outgoing orders
• Schedule deliveries as per deadlines
• Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the warehouse
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following the proper Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Perform other warehouse functions/duties as assigned by manager

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role (Inventory Clerk, Storekeeper, Logistics Coordinator, Warehouse Clerk, etc.)
• Previous experience using a Warehouse Management Software / ERP system (SAP) as well as MS Excel
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated and a self-starter
• Positive attitude and team player mentality
• Ability to lift 30lbs
• Must have own vehicle as public transportation is not available
• Previous experience using a forklift considered an asset
• Previous supervisory experience considered a strong asset

The wage range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience.

Monday to Friday – 7:00am – 4:00pm
