Final Assembly Mechanic - Day Shift

Located in Sherwood, OR

Salary: $22 - $26/hr. DOE

Our esteemed client in the Tualatin area is actively seeking a skilled Final Assembly Mechanic to join their dynamic team. This is an evaluation to a full-time hire position! The initial contract is 60 days, then FTE!

What You Will Do: Become a vital part of our team as you build, assemble, install, and repair cutting-edge Heavy Machinery including Winches, Logstackers, Chip Dozers, Marine Cranes, Long Reach Forklift Attachments, and Balers. You'll work on innovative projects that drive our company forward!

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a heavy industrial or mechanic environment (this is not an assembly-line type shop)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications.
• Skilled in rigging loads with jib cranes, chains, ropes, and overhead cranes.
• Experience installing assemblies in a supportive framework according to blueprints.
• Proficiency in inspecting assemblies and installations for conformance to specifications.
• Adaptability to work across multiple product lines as necessary.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs.
• Experience with Hydraulics and/or Electrical is preferred.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice to Have Tools (But Not Required):
3/8 and ½” drive socket wrenches, open end wrenches up to 2”, screwdrivers, allen wrenches, hammers, pliers, tri square, nut drivers, off-set wrenches, die grinder, impacts, etc.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
