The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in our operations by programming, setting up, and operating toroidal CNC machines to produce high-precision components. This position requires a dedicated individual with expertise in toroidal machining and a commitment to delivering top-quality work in a family-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate toroidal CNC machines to produce components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Program CNC machines using G-code and other programming languages to perform machining operations.
• Conduct machine tooling changes, adjustments, and tool offsets as necessary to ensure proper machining processes.
• Monitor machine performance, conduct quality checks, and make adjustments to optimize production efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve machining processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and machines, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior machinists as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with specific expertise in toroidal CNC machining.
• Proficiency in programming, setting up, and operating toroidal CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and precision to ensure high-quality output.
• Familiarity with CNC programming languages, including G-code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine-related issues.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols and best practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in CNC machining are preferred.
