Press Brake Operators needed for temp to hire first shift positions with a well-established company. Prefer candidates with 2+ years of Press Brake Operator experience. Those with metal shop experience (welding/grinding, punch press, drill press) will also be considered. MUST have job stability to be considered for these positions.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Setup and operate computer programmable/controlled brake press machines. 

 

Must be able to plan and layout bending sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints or specifications. 

 

Bend a variety of products or assemblies of small, light to average weight following standard procedures.  Request assistance on large or heavy sheet metal blanks.

Setup up various types of metal in performing operations in forming.  All parts must be bent to close tolerances.  Requires aligning, fitting and adjusting parts to meet operating requirements of unit. 

 

Troubleshoot and rework pieces that fail tests. Assist Engineering personnel in the modification, parts substitution, and repair.  May perform minor maintenance procedures. 

Coordinates orders on carts by ship date. 

 

A concern for quality control is a requirement. 

 

Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.

Steel toed shoes/boots required. Able to pass a background and drug test. Overtime is available. Competitive salary + benefits.
