Located in Conover, NC

• Responsible for assembly of technical equipment, systems and electromechanical assemblies base on specified work instruction, focusing on mechanics
• Assemble any product as identified by the production schedule and work in an efficient manner.
• Perform testing on assembled units
• Complete assembled unit packing consisting of building wood crates and pallets to insure safe logistics travel
• Strive for continuous improvement during assembly process
• Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and correctly
• Adhere to defined operating and assembly procedures for work instructions and testing standards.
• Good knowledge of working with steel machined and fabricated items.
• Ability to perform invisible repair which can consist of; tapping holes, insert helix coils, polishing steel, bead blasting, etc.
• Use of power and air tools correctly and efficiently.
• Ability to install wiring and switching
• Able to measure, resolve and repair any defects occurred in the assembly process.
• Complete heater ohm testing and product QC inspection forms
• Must be able to tolerate non-temperature controlled environment with cold/hot conditions.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work area
• Required to travel for equipment start-up and maintenance as needed
• Preps parts to be painted by removing rust from metal, grease and dirt from work surfaces
• Appropriately mix thinners, primers and reducers with paints to come up with required consistency
• Heavy Lifting 50+ pounds

• Operate overhead crane, forklift, and/or hand trucks as necessary
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Perform quality inspection on standard parts using various measuring tools
• Assist shipping/receiving as needed
• Paint surfaces using sprayer or brush as appropriate
