Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated financial professional with expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance to fill the role of Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting. Key responsibilities also include developing and managing financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and laws, and preparing insightful financial reports for management.

 

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
• Develop and manage financial policies and procedures to maintain the firm''s financial health.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.
• Implement strategies to optimize cash management and liquidity
• Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices.
• Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and data.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 3+ years proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting management software and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• High level of integrity and ethics in handling confidential financial information

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office, 2 days remote
