Fabrication Team Lead

Salary: $25+/hr DOE

Fabrication Team Lead Job Summary:

Join a thriving local manufacturing team on the 2nd shift as a Fabrication Team Lead. This hands-on leadership role involves training and overseeing a team of Fabricators, contributing to the company's growth.

 

Fabrication Team Lead Requirements:

• Supervise, lead, and manage a team, providing guidance and coaching.
• Lift, position, and remove workpieces, assisting in fitting.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, appearance, and safety of the building inside and out during the second shift.
• Train new staff on policies, procedures, and practices.
• Read mechanical drawings to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Operate fabrication shop machinery and equipment to make products according to customer expectations.
• Set stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
• Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
• Measure workpiece dimensions to determine the accuracy of machine operation.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from the workpiece.
• Thread pipe.
• Perform minor machine maintenance.
• Demonstrate motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work as a team player.

Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday

Pay: $25/hr+ depending on experience 

 

Fabrication Team Lead Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience. 
• Strong reading and math skills.
• Excellent analytical skills, mechanical aptitude, and manual dexterity.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
