Human Resources Manager

Located in Savage, MN

Salary: $33-38/hr DOE

Express Employment Professionals is looking for an early career Human Resources Manager who can make an industry leading company a premier employment destination for the top talent in the industry. The HR Manager will be responsible for evaluating employee programs, recommending improvements to employee relations policies and making sure that all employee-related policies in each department align with the corporate goals and established regulations. The successful candidate will be charges with attracting top talent to fill open positions. This position will work and train under the direct supervision of the President & Controller.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruiting and staffing
• Develop and sustain employee engagement
• Performance management and improvement systems
• Organization development
• Employment and compliance with regulatory concerns regarding employees
• Employee onboarding, development, needs assessment, and training
• Policy development and documentation
• Employee relations
• Company-wide committee facilitation
• Company employee and community communication
• Compensation and benefits administration
• Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health
• Charitable giving and volunteer opportunities
• Employee services and counseling

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Full time
• Monday through Friday, 7:30AM-4:00PM
• In office

 

WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Human Resources (preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of practical work experience in a Human Resources department
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Capable of understanding process and employee development
• Technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Work, PowerPoint, Excel
• Must be able to type 50+ WPM
