About the Client:

Express Employment is partnering with a local smog shop seeking a Certified Automotive Smog Technician.

About the Position:

The smog technician position is full time with a well established Shasta County automotive/smog shop.

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

Perform Smog inspections and repairs on a variety of vehicles.
Diagnose and troubleshoot smog-related issues, recommend and perform appropriate repairs.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs and test results.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Valid CA smog inspector and repair technician license required
Degree or Certificate from a trade school preferred
Previous experience as an automotive technician preferred

Shift:

This shop is open 6 days a week...must be flexible to possibly work on Saturdays 

Compensation:

$20.00 or higher depending on length of experience
