Production Equipment Technician (ALL LEVELS)

Salary: $25+ DOE

As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance of production equipment in a large manufacturing plant. You are a good fit for this position if you have knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic systems, high and low voltage electrical skills, and are able to use test equipment such as voltmeter, amp meter, etc. This full-time position provides the opportunity to get your foot in the door in an international company recognized as an industry-leader, offering exceptional benefits, advancement opportunities and lucrative pay. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform maintenance of production equipment
• Clean and rebuild spare parts on equipment as required
• Dismantle, move, assemble, install and repair all types of conventional and NC/automatic machine tools including lathes, mills, punch presses, die casting machines, injection and compression plastic molding machines, automatic screw machines, etc.
• Utilize blueprints to guide installations, repairs, etc.
• Perform electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic trouble-shooting and repair.
• Set up and operate conventional machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or fabricate new parts.
• Perform minor rebuilding projects on major machine tools and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent; 20 credit hours towards technical degree; 1-year related experience; OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• MUST be certified in SPC and HAZCOM
• Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic systems 
• Basic high and low voltage electrical skills and to use test equipment, voltmeter, amp meter, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
