Compensation details for the Life Skills Instructor Position:

• Full Time: $18 per hour + $1,000 sign-on bonus
• Part Time: $18 per hour + $500 sign-on bonus

Hourly Rate: $18 per hour

 

Location: Dodge City

Schedule: 7 Days on, 7 Days off; Various Shifts

 

Job Description:

As a Life Skills Instructor, you will be a crucial support in assisting individuals with learning or physical disabilities to develop essential skills for independent living. Your role involves setting positive examples for clients and co-workers, including promoting appropriate dress and hygiene, maintaining a strong work ethic, punctuality, and fostering respectful interactions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with disabilities in developing life skills for independent living.
• Demonstrate and teach appropriate work examples for clients and co-workers.
• Emphasize proper dress, hygiene, strong work ethic, punctuality, and respectful interactions.
• Create a supportive and empowering environment for individuals under your care.

 

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age requirement: 18 years.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Customer service oriented.
• Effective communication skills.
• Teamwork and cooperation.
• Efficient organizational skills.
• Flexibility with working hours.
• Ability to plan, organize, and carry out instructions.

 

Sign-on Bonus:

• Full Time: $1,000 sign-on bonus
• Part Time: $500 sign-on bonus
