Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven individual to join our finance team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and reconciling customer accounts, ensuring timely payment collection, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

1. Generate and send accurate and timely customer invoices.
2. Monitor customer accounts for timely payments and follow up on overdue invoices.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
4. Reconcile customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
5. Post customer payments to appropriate accounts and allocate funds accordingly.
6. Conduct regular credit assessments and establish credit limits for customers.
7. Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify and address delinquent accounts.
8. Communicate with customers to address payment-related inquiries and provide necessary documentation.
9. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
10. Work closely with the finance team to contribute to process improvements and efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
3. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
8. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Knowledge of credit management and risk assessment is a plus.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
