Express Employment of Long Beach is hiring an Leasing Agent for a property management company in Long Beach.

Location: Long Beach

Pay: $20 - $21/hr. plus bonuses and competitive commission

Full time, Full medical benefits, Allowance for gas, Company cell phone

Schedule: M-F 8:30am-5:30pm, Sat & Sun 9am-6pm flexible

Leasing Agent Job Duties:

· Lease the property under acceptable and pre-determined conditions

· Ability to walk vacant units and inspect units

· Maintain an accurate and a thorough knowledge of all the aspects of the property

· Provide information about the property and the community to the prospect client

· Have prospect complete application and secure deposit

· Maintain open communication with Property Managers and Maintenance staff

· Effectively explain to the client all the leasing policies, execute lease with qualified prospects.

· Support overall marketing techniques and offer suggestions that can help in the promotion, advertising, and marketing of properties.

· Learn and ensure compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules.

Leasing Agent Qualifications:

· 1+ years’ experience in residential leasing (prefer multi-site)

· Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends

· Proficient Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, experience with AppFolio a plus

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Work both as a team member and independently

· Requires standing, walking, bending

· Travel required - moderate

· Own transportation required with valid CA driver’s license and auto insurance
