Minimum Requirements of Employer:

· High School Diploma/GED Equivalent

· Forklift certification desired but not required.

· Experience is preferred but will train appropriate individual.

· Candidates will be highly self- motivated, dependable, have reliable transportation and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Pre- employment physical will be required. The physical requirement will include lifting 50 pounds and a push/pull ability of 100 pounds. Pre-employment drug screening required.

· Must have the legal ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Job Description:

Powder coating is a dry coating that you will apply on metal parts for industrial equipment. You will inspect parts before and after the powder coating process for any flaws. You will hang and take down a large variety of parts on an overhead trolley line. After parts are completed, you will pack the parts per requirements.

Please consider prior to applying that the work environment during the summer months can be warm but to keep you as comfortable as possible we allow employees to wear shorts, sleeveless shirts, and steel-toe tennis shoes. We also provide thermal water bottles, ice pops, and cold neck wraps. Also, when in the powder coating spray booth, we have a cooling paint suit system.

The typical work hours are from 6am - 4pm, Monday - Friday (Friday is time and a half pay). There will be occasions when the workload requires also working Saturdays (6am - 12pm) with time and a half overtime pay. We do ask for some flexibility on work hours but we also give advance notice of these occasions and it is discussed with each employee.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job :

Candidates will be highly self- motivated, dependable, have reliable transportation and have a joyful disposition.

· Prepare parts for coating

· Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application

· Operate all coating equipment including guns, hoppers and booth collection systems

· Observe machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects

· Determine paint flow, viscosity and coating quality by performing visual inspections or by using viscometers

· Bake parts at appropriate temperatures within time limitations

· Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently, and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance

· Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout facility

· Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment

· Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures

· Mechanics and repair of painting equipment

· Proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $17.00 per hour
