Express Employment has teamed up with a local hotel to offer several opportunities for qualified individuals looking for immediate work! These are housekeeping opportunities with a steady 40-hour work week. Prior experience as a hotel housekeeper is preferred, but not required for this position.
Shift and Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am start time, (5-6 hour shifts during weekdays), weekend availability is a must, 9am start time (8-10 hour shifts)- $15/hour
Duties:
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Replenish supplies such as towels, toilet paper, and soap
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 35lbs frequently
