Maintenance Mechanic/Tech
Located in York, PA
Salary: $28 to$30/hr/DOE
Hours: 2nd - 3p - 11p (2:45pm arrival expectation)
3rd - 11p - 7a (10:45p arrival expectation)
Dress code: Steel toes required. All other PPE supplied. Shorts and t-shirts are acceptable. Tank tops must have 3in straps.
Job Description: The maintenance technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Follow health and safety standards.
Ø Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to identify and address issues/repairs.
Ø Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical or plumbing problems in equipment, machinery, and facilities.
Ø Ensure that equipment and instruments are calibrated correctly to maintain accuracy and precision.
Ø Maintain detailed records of maintenance requests and work orders.
Ø Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Ø Assist supervisor/leads on training team members/employees on basic functioning/preventative maintenance measures.
Ø Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks when necessary.
Qualifications / Requirements
Ø 3+ years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing/production environment.
Ø Strong familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Ø Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
Ø Strong communications skills
Ø Ability to climb, kneel, crouch and work above the shoulders.
Ø High school diploma; vocational training or certification in related field
