Job Description:  Experienced Civil Paralegal – Torrance, CA

 Our clients are a well-established firm in the South Bay that is looking to hire a long-term experience Paralegal to their practice.

Job functions and requirements include:

·        1+ years of civil law as a paralegal.

·        Must be certified

·        Pluses include - experience in estate plan, probate, trust administration and/or conservatorship law. This is not required but does relate to compensation.

Job duties:

·        Handling trust administration matters and preparing all related documents.

·        Handling probate matters and assisting in preparing all court documents, including Final Account and Report.

·        Handling conservatorship petitions and administration; preparing all court documents and accountings.

·        Drafting estate plan documents.

·        Preparing notices of hearing for all matters.

·        Performing research on topics related to litigation such as case law, regulations, or laws that may affect a client’s case.

Hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
